Looking Forward

Looking Forward

From the very beginning, Trame Sonore has been dedicated to younger generations, offering them a privileged space for discovery, development, and exploration.

Looking Forward is therefore a vision of the future that — through a series of different yet complementary initiatives — aims to serve both as an aspiration and as a model, with the goal of organically strengthening the cultural ecosystem.

In particular:

  • For Kids: musical productions dedicated to children and families, designed to bring tomorrow’s audiences closer to music.
  • Youth Chamber Music Contest & Meeting: some of the most promising under-18 ensembles will be guests of the Festival, which becomes for these young musicians a place for exchange, encounter, and artistic growth.
  • Scouting: several long-standing guests of Trame Sonore will perform alongside very young and emerging talents, fostering new relationships with an international outlook.
  • Quartetti al Virgilio: a focus on the most compelling string quartets on today’s scene, featuring both emerging ensembles and internationally acclaimed performers.
  • Shared Futures: festival directors and staff from across Europe will join Trame Sonore for discussions on future visions and to build new international collaborations.
  • Beyond the Classical Form: five experimental projects exploring new languages, repertoires, and forms of dialogue with audiences.
