Since 1981, in Mantua the word “orchestra” has been synonymous with an expanded chamber ensemble.

It means making music together through constant dialogue among musicians. It reflects an untiring and refined pursuit of sound and stylistic identity, grounded in uncompromising technical brilliance.

It is no coincidence that Italy’s national music critics, in awarding the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova the prestigious Abbiati Prize, described the ensemble as “a high-level meeting point between the Italian instrumental tradition and the classical repertoire.”
