Questioning the future of chamber music… starting from the nocturne. Three centuries explore, in music, the idea of night: the melancholic Schubertian 19th century, the visionary 20th century of Ernest Bloch, and the contemporary work by Lucia. Like in a dream, each of these nocturnes evokes a sequence of images—some blurred and elusive, others vivid and clearly defined.
In this spirit, the René Piano Trio is joined by Abruzzo-based illustrator Luca Di Sabatino, who, equipped with a tablet and digital pen, creates three evolving visual scenes in real time. Listening to the music intertwines with the construction of images, offering a synesthetic experience where sound and vision continuously interact.
