Concert in the series Beyond the Classical Form, supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC) and SIAE, within the framework of the Per Chi Crea programme, with additional support from Ruberti e Associati.
Questioning the future of chamber music… through the senses. What does a theme and variations taste like? Which flavours best accompany a homage to Bach? What spices emerge from the notes of Kodály? A solo clarinet and an imaginative, highly creative bartender reveal the answers in this unusual concert experience.
Mirko Salvagno — owner and creative mind behind Mantesco Sorbir Cocktail — has devised a tasting of four cocktails, each inspired by the colours, aromas, and atmospheres found in the musical programme curated by Daniel Roscia. The audience faces the evening’s most difficult choice: only one cocktail per person, served precisely during its corresponding musical pairing.
The tasting therefore unfolds in alternating stages, inviting every sense to take part in discovering Béla Kovács’s clarinet homages, the rare spiritism of Nino Rota, and a surprising work for clarinet, balloon, and drink. Prosit!
