Winner of several international competitions, including the “X. Witold Lutosławski International Cello Competition,” Dorukhan Doruk has already performed in major concert halls such as the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Tonhalle Zürich, the Victoria Hall in Geneva, and the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, as well as at prestigious festivals such as the Verbier Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.

Dorukhan’s latest CD, Elusive Lights, released by Genuin, received unanimous critical acclaim and was nominated for the German Record Critics’ Award.

Dorukhan is a highly sought-after soloist and chamber musician, having performed with orchestras throughout Europe and Asia and collaborated with artists such as Fazıl Say, İdil Biret, and David Geringas. He is currently Principal Solo Cellist of the Tonhalle Orchestra Düsseldorf.

Dorukhan will take part in Trame Sonore 2026 as a member of the Trio Vecando.
