The Trio Vecando takes us into the electrifying world of Fazıl Say, a composer who breaks every convention by blending classical music, jazz, and Eastern rhythms into a unique, cinematic language.
The concert is a true rush of adrenaline, beginning with Space Jump, a work inspired by Felix Baumgartner’s daring leap from space. Through an overwhelming rhythmic drive, the music captures both the tension of the ascent and the thrill of free fall back to Earth. With the Sonata Mount Ida, dedicated to the beauty of the Turkish mountains, the music becomes more evocative and profound, turning into a hymn to the protection of nature.
The members of Trio Vecando are the ideal interpreters for this challenge: their energy perfectly matches Say’s spirit. Amid the extraordinary frescoes of the Hall of Mirrors, these modern sonorities create a magnetic contrast, offering us a concert that is pure energy and a vivid reflection of our time.
