Trio Vecando leads us into the heart of German Romanticism with one of the landmark masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire: Brahms’s Piano Trio No. 1 in B major, Op. 8.

This is a unique musical work that contains within it two distinct souls: that of the twenty-year-old Brahms, impetuous and dreamlike, and that of the mature man who, nearly forty years later, decided to revise the piece in order to perfect it. The result is a work that is both grand and intimate, capable of speaking directly to the heart. From the very first notes, the listener is enveloped by a broad and warm melody, initially entrusted to the cello, which seems as though it never wishes to end.

With their refined musical understanding, Trio Vecando guides the audience through an intense dialogue between piano and strings, where each instrument is granted its own moment of prominence. Between surges of passion and poetic reflection, Brahms’s music transforms the hall into an intimate salon. It is the ideal program in which to surrender to pure beauty, rediscovering a timeless classic through the fresh interpretative voice of a trio capable of turning every note into a living emotion.
