After completing his musical studies at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice, Stefano Biguzzi attended specialization courses in violin and string quartet with G. Guglielmo and F. Rossi, also following the two-year course for shoulder violin held in Fiesole by G. Prencipe and G. Franzetti.
He participated in the masterclasses of U. Ughi at the Chigiana Academy and R. Ricci at the Hochschule of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where he performed in concerts reserved for the best students.
He has twenty-five years of chamber music activity to his credit which has seen him perform as first violin in a quartet and string quintet and in duo and trio with piano, guest of prestigious musical institutions and together with instrumentalists of international standing (A. Lonquich, B. Canino, R. Filippini, A. Dindo).
From 1995 to 2015 he was first violin soloist of the “Interpreti Veneziani”, since 2001 he is one of the first violins of the Mantua Chamber Orchestra and regularly collaborates with the Brescia Chamber Orchestra.
He plays a Vincenzo Postiglione violin.
