Carlotta Maestrini - piano

Carlotta Maestrini, born in Palermo in 2005, is a student of Andrea Lucchesini and attends her High Specialization Course at the Fiesole School of Music.
Winner of numerous prizes in various competitions including G. Campochiaro, Steinway di Verona, Eliodoro Sollima, Premio Abbado, Ibla, the ‘Città dei Talenti’ Prize, she made her debut at just nine years old with the Concerto in D major for piano and orchestra by Haydn in Lecce, conducted by Francesco Libetta.
She played at the Bellini Theater in Catania, at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, he inaugurated the 100 Cellos at the RAI directed by Giovanni Sollima; she collaborated with the Orchestra Notturna Clandestina, the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, the Filarmonica Umbra, with the Amici della Musica of Florence, with the Coccia Orchestra of Novara directed by M. Caldi and finally performed in Scandicci on the occasion of the fortieth years of Andrea Lucchesini’s career. A guest in the United States several times, she collaborated with the Greenwich Orchestra conducted by Tara Simoncic in 2016, while in January 2019 she was invited to the Key Biscayne and the Miami Piano Festival.
She played in various formations with Giovanni Sollima: in a duo where they performed at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, in Tropea, at the Ravenna Festival 2022, in Palermo, in Trieste, Livorno, Rovigo, Modica and in trio, with also Clarissa Bevilacqua, at the Ponchielli Theater in Cremona, at the Trento Philharmonic and at the Valentino Theater in Voghera.
