“Such expression! Such delicacy! Such a fusion and agreement of instruments that many passages seem like sighs, emitted by the same instrument…” wrote Charles Burney in 1770 after meeting and hearing the Besozzi brothers, “known to all foreigners who have taste for music.”
Alessandro and Paolo Girolamo, with oboe and bassoon, set out from Parma, passed through Turin and Paris, and arrive today at Trame Sonore.
