Diplomaed in violin, she began studying viola under the guidance of Simone Gramaglia.
She attended masterclasses with Larry Dutton, Robert MacDuffie, and Aida Carmen Soanea, and in 2012 was selected to perform in concerts at the Rome Chamber Music Festival.
In 2017 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Viola with top marks and honors from the “A. Casella” Conservatory in L’Aquila.
Founder and member of the Quartetto Guadagnini until 2015, she attended the advanced course for string quartet held by the Quartetto di Cremona at the Accademia Walter Stauffer and had the opportunity to follow courses taught by Hatto Beyerle at the ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy).
With the Quartetto Guadagnini, she won the Premio Farulli at the 33rd Franco Abbiati Prize and performed at major festivals and concert seasons in Italy and abroad, including Stradivari Festival, Unione Musicale of Turin, Amici della Musica of Palermo, Amici della Musica of Padova, Bologna Festival, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna, Teatro La Fenice, and the Sion Festival.
With the Quartetto di Cremona, she performed in quintet and sextet formations for the MiTo Festival, Filarmonica of Trento, and Teatro Verdi of Pordenone.
She has worked as a violinist and is currently a regular viola collaborator with I Solisti Aquilani.
Margherita will participate in Trame Sonore 2026 as a member of the Quartetto Kilmt.
