The madrigal ensemble Arco Amoroso was born from a project conceived by Valentina Fin at the heart of the Conservatorio di Vicenza, where six young singers, united by a shared passion for Renaissance and Baroque repertoire, came together and began a path of musical research and interpretation. After an in-depth study of madrigals and the performance of the complete Vivezze di Flora e Primavera by Adriano Banchieri, as well as works by Claudio Monteverdi at the “Spazio e Musica” festival in Vicenza, the group decided to establish itself as a permanent ensemble dedicated to exploring and promoting this repertoire.
In 2025, the ensemble was selected to participate in the Monteverdi Academy within the Monteverdi Festival in Cremona, where it is scheduled to perform in concert in June. In the same month, it also performed for the “Amici della Musica – Toti dal Monte” series in Mogliano Veneto.
In October 2025, the ensemble performed for the “Serenissime Dimore” series at Villa Pojana (Vicenza) under the auspices of Asolo Musica. In November 2025, it appeared at the Tempio di Santa Corona in Vicenza for the Spazio e Musica Festival.
The members of the ensemble — Valentina Fin (soprano), Marta Fraccaroli (mezzo-soprano), Luigi Tinto (tenor), Marco Baratto (tenor), and Luca Pasqualetto (baritone) — come from training paths dedicated to Renaissance and Baroque vocal repertoire, developed across various Italian conservatories. The ensemble is supported by bass Guglielmo Buonsanti, who acts as artistic mentor and reference point for stylistic and interpretative research.
