Pianist, harpsichordist, and singer Antonella Antonioli maintains an intense concert activity, with a particular focus on chamber music in a wide range of ensembles.
After beginning her piano studies with Maestro Marco Martini, she graduated in Piano with top marks under Professor Lucia Lusvardi, in Harpsichord in the class of Maestro Sergio Vartolo, and in Operatic Singing with Professor Annunziata Lia Lantieri at the Conservatory of Music “Lucio Campiani” in Mantua. She further refined her skills with Maestros Nunzio Montanari (piano), Edward Smith (harpsichord), and Andreana Galante (baroque singing).
She has taken part in international festivals, including “Cervantes en todas partes” and the “Festival Internacional Cervantino” in Mexico City, and regularly performs at the chamber music festival “Trame Sonore – Oficina OCM” in Mantua and at the “Musica intorno al Fiume” series organized by the Serassi Cultural Association in Guastalla.
She has collaborated with the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova and with “I Solisti dell’OCM,” undertaking important tours in the United States and Mexico, and performing numerous concerts in duo and in wind sextet with piano alongside her husband, flautist Maestro Roberto Fabiano.
She studied and worked with Maestro Claudio Gallico, participating in the Monteverdi celebrations at the Ducal Palace of Mantua.
For over forty years she has worked as a music educator, concluding her teaching career as professor of piano and vocal chamber music at the Musical High School “Isabella d’Este” in Mantua.
She is artistic director of the cultural association “Livia d’Arco” in Mantua, promoting multidisciplinary projects, concerts, and cultural collaborations. Since February 2023 she has directed the Livia d’Arco Choir, affiliated with the Univermantova Foundation, which she co-founded in 2013 with her husband, Maestro Roberto Fabiano, who led it until his passing in December 2022.
