Music at stake

With this violin and double bass soloists program, the OCM returns alongside not only to a great international virtuoso, such as the violinist Veronika Eberle, but also of the youngest member of the famous Berliner Philarmoniker, Edicson Ruiz, trained in Venezuela thanks to the ‘Sistema’ of José Abreu.
Gathering the less popular Hadyn Concerto in A major for violin with two of Rossini’s Sonatas a quattro, as well as the rarest pages of the Elegy for double bass by H. W. Ernst, the voices of the two instruments come across several times in this program, before their final hug in the instrumental piece of the Gran Duo Concertante by Bottesini.
