Serena Seghettini - viola da gamba

Serena Seghettini was born in L’Aquila in 1999. At the age of eight she began studying the Viola da Gamba with Andrea De Carlo at the Conservatorio A. Casella, obtaining the Academic Diploma on 28 October 2021. She continued his studies with Maestro De Carlo at the Conservatorio S. Cecilia in Rome, graduating in the two-year course of Viola da Gamba on 23 March 2024 with honours.
She is currently attending the master’s course in Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of L’Aquila.
During her training he followed masterclasses with important international soloists such as Paolo Pandolfo and Lucile Boulanger.
With Ensemble Mare Nostrum/Stradella Y-Project has participated in many productions of concerts, serenades, operas and oratorios, often performed for the first time in modern times at important institutions such as the Alessandro Stradella Baroque Festival in Viterbo, the Grandezze e Meraviglie Festival in Modena, the Concert Season of the Pietà dei Turchini Foundation of Naples, the Barattelli Concert Society of L’Aquila, the Rossini Open Festival.
With Ensemble Mare Nostrum/Stradella Y-Project has participated since its creation in the MASSENZIO 2035 project, dedicated to the complete performance of Domenico Massenzio’s works.
