Roberto Noferini – violin

Graduated with G. Baffero, Roberto Noferini studied with A. Grumiaux, S. Accardo, C. Romano and P. Vernikov.
He followed Baroque violin masters with R. Goebel, E. Gatti, F. Birsak and S. Rambaldi.
He is the winner of numerous prizes in important international competitions.
Founding member of the SchuberTrio since 2000, he performs in numerous chamber concerts. He has played as a soloist the main concertos for violin and orchestra and collaborates in chamber ensembles with B. Canino, S. Accardo, M. Quarta, I. Faust, C. Rossi, B. Giuranna, D. Zardi, A Pay.
There are numerous concerts throughout Europe, with baroque and classical repertoire with violin and period bow, in duo with Chiara Cattani on the harpsichord or fortepiano.
His interpretation of Paganini’s 24 Capricci recorded as a world premiere on gut strings, again for Tactus, met with great success on the world scene. He has recorded two CDs for Bongiovanni with B. Canino and for Tactus the Trios of Bossi and the 2 Concerts for violin and orchestra by Pugnani.
He dedicates himself to the contemporary repertoire and boasts prestigious collaborations with L. Berio, S. Sciarrino, G. Petrassi, N. Castiglioni, R. Cacciola, G. Manzoni and B. Bettinelli.
He teaches violin at the “Rossini” Conservatory of Pesaro and teaches at the “M. Allegri” Summer Specialization Course in Faenza, of which he is also artistic director.
He was awarded the honor of Knight of the Order of S. Agata by the Republic of S. Marino for high artistic and cultural merits.
