Ludovica Rana - cello

Born in 1995 into a family of musicians, Ludovica began her career as a soloist early on, performing both in recitals at important concert companies such as the Società dei Concerti di Milano, Cremona Mondo Musica, Musica Pura di Pordenone, Festival Ritratto di Monopoli, Fazioli Concert Hall, Philharmonic Academy of Messina, Varignana Music Festival, The Quirinale concerts, Festival Villa Solomei, Festival Classiche Forme, Musica a Villa Durio, both as a soloist with various orchestras such as the ICO Orchestra of Lecce, the Orchestra of Padua and of Veneto, Sicilian Symphony Orchestra.
There are also numerous collaborations in the field of Chamber Music, including those with her sister Beatrice Rana, Enrico Dindo, Pablo Fernandez, Giovanni Sollima, Bruno Giuranna, Oleg Kaskiv, Francesco Libetta, Massimo Quarta, Danilo Rossi, Alessandro Taverna , Pavel Vernikov.
Graduated in Cello in 2014 with full marks and honors at the “Giovanni Paisiello” Musical Institute of Taranto in the class of M° Andrea Agostinelli, Ludovica also owes her training to M° Enrico Dindo at the Pavia Cello Academy and at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano, where he obtained the Master in Music Performance and from Maestro Giovanni Sollima, in the Cello Specialization Course at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, where he graduated with top marks and honours. Again at the same National Academy of Santa Cecilia she obtained a diploma with top marks in the Chamber Music Specialization Course under the guidance of Maestro Carlo Fabiano. In June 2020 she obtained a degree in Chamber Music from the “Braga” State Institute of Musical Studies in Teramo with a grade of 110 cum laude.
He teaches Chamber Music at the Conservatory of Music “N. Piccinni” of Bari.
