Luca Ciammarughi is a pianist, writer and radio host. Since 2007 it has been broadcast daily on Classic Radio. He studied with Paolo Bordoni at the Milan Conservatory, where he graduated with honors in piano and with honorable mention in vocal chamber music. He has recorded numerous CDs and played for prestigious institutions in Europe and the United States. He writes room notes for the Teatro alla Scala and the National Academy of Santa Cecilia. He has lectured at the Fenice in Venice and in many Italian conservatories. He has written for Zecchini Editore the books From Benedetti Michelangeli to Argerich and Soviet Piano ; for LIM the volume Schubert’s Last Sonatas ; a Schubertian monograph for La Repubblica; for Ponte alle Grazie The essentials. 30 piano masterpieces to listen to at least once in a lifetime. He recently held numerous concert-lessons at the Palazzina Liberty in Milan and edited the series of interviews “Prima la musica” for the YouTube channel of the Teatro alla Scala. He took part in all editions of the Mantova Chamber Music Festival.
