Lorenzo Rovati – violin

Having graduated with top marks from the “G. Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan”, he specialized with Felice Cusano at the Fiesole School of Music and subsequently at the “Hochschule fuer Musik” in Nuremberg, where he obtained the Bachelor’s and Master under the guidance of Daniel Gaede.
For years he has held the role of First Violin de Spalla in numerous orchestras (Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Orchestra LaToscanini, Orchestra Leonore, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Teatro Petruzzelli, Teatro Carlo Felice) and since 2023 he has been a member of the Utopia orchestra directed by M. Currentzis with whom he performs on international tours in the most prestigious halls in Europe (Philarmonie Berlin, Konzerthaus Vienna, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Megharon Athens, Mupa Budapest).
He has also collaborated with the Luzerne Festival Orchestra and Spira Mirabilis.
Alongside his activity as first violin, he carries out an intense chamber and solo activity. Since 2016 he has been a violinist in residence at the Rirati di Monopoli Festival where he collaborates with artists such as Enrico Bronzi, Cristina Zavalloni, Richard Galliano, Benedetto Lupo.
