Emiliano Rossi – percussion

Graduated from the “B.Maderna” Conservatory of Music in Cesena with 10 cum laude in July 2000, he followed specialization courses with David Friedman, Dave Samuels, Michael Queen, Ney Rosauro.
He has collaborated with the Arena Opera House in Verona, the San Carlo Theater in Naples, the La Fenice Theater in Venice, the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, the Rome Opera House, the Scala Philharmonic Orchestra in Milan, the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, working with many conductors including including Daniel Harding, Riccardo Muti, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Jeffrey Tate, Georges Prêtre, Eliahu Imbal, Seymond Bichkov, Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos, Kirill Petrenko, Myung-Whun Chung, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Daniele Gatti, Fabio Luisi.
He held Percussion Master Classes at the Conservatories of Turin, Cesena and Sassari.
In 2007 he won the Competition for Percussionist banned by the Teatro Lirico of Cagliari where he held this role from 2008 to 2015.
Also in 2007 he obtained second place in the Percussionist Competition at the RAI National Symphony Orchestra in Turin (Peter Sadlo President of the Commission) where he has worked steadily since 2015.
