Michele Torresetti was born in 1981 in Civitanova Marche, he began studying violin at the age of 6 at “L. Liviabella “ music school in Macerata, he subsequently continued his studies at the Verona Conservatory under Maestro W. Daga with whom he brilliantly graduated. From 2007 he began to collaborate with the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala, Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, Orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

Michele is a member of the Mozart orchestra founded and directed by Claudio Abbado and since June 2016 he has been in the first violin part of the Bayerische Staatsorchester in Munich.

For what concerns chamber music, he has collaborated with internationally renowned musicians at prestigious foundations and concert companies.

He has been artistic director of the Summer Festival in Serrapetrona (MC) since its first edition in 2012.

He plays a Joseph & Antoinus Gagliano from 1820 kindly granted by the Bayerische Staatsoper.
