Gabriele Carcano has played in halls and seasons such as Tonhalle in Zurich, Herkulessaal in Munich, the Salle Pleyel, Theater des Champs Elysées and Cité de la Musique in Paris, the Quartet Society of Milan, Amici della Musica in Florence, Wigmore Hall in London, , Festival Piano aux Jacobins – Toulouse, Orchester Nationale de Montpellier, Verdi Orchestra of Milan, Fundacion Scherzo of Madrid, Staatskapelle Weimar, International Piano Festival del Mariinsky – Saint Petersburg, Musashino Hall Tokyo, Mecklenburg Vorpommen Festival, Jerusalem Theater, with conductors such as Ton Koopman, Ion Marin, Alain Altinoglu.
Active chamber musician, he regularly collaborates with musicians such as Carolin Widmann, Enrico Dindo, Viviane Hagner, Marie-Elisabeth Hecker, Stephen Waarts.
Winner of the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship in 2010, he received an immediate invitation from Mitsuko Uchida to the Marlboro Music Festival and then participated in several American tours of the festival, including Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall.
His two solo albums, Brahms for Oehms Classic and Schumann for Rubicon Classic, have been met with the Supersonic Award and rave reviews in several countries.
This season he will finish the complete Beethoven Sonatas in London and he will play for seasons such as Società del Quartetto di Milano, LAC Lugano Musica, Amici della Musica di Firenze and Padova, Vancouver Recital Society, Festival Pao Casals.
Since October 2015 he has been teaching at the Pinerolo Academy of Music.
