Since 1978 Angelo Foletto has been a music critic of Repubblica, he has taught History of Music in the Conservatory and journalistic-musical writing at the Scuola Holden, “Parola all’ascolto” and other courses. Member of the artistic commission of the Coro Sat Foundation of Trento, president of the GAM Friends of Milan and of the Foletto Museum in Ledro (TN), since 1996 he has led the board of the National Music Critics Association. Deputy director of Musica Viva, creator of «Prima delle prime», conductor of «Domenica in concerto», collaborator of Classica / Sky and Radio3, writes on Suonare news and Classic Voice. Lecturer and author of essays relating to musical theater and the history of conducting interpretation, Carlo Maria Giulini recounted in a book-interview, Daniele Lombardi and The direction of opera in the volume «Musica» of the Encyclopedia Treccani in a monograph.
