In the repertoire for piano four hands, characterized by an almost domestic intimacy, Schubert’s Fantasia occupies a special place. The incredible lyricism of the opening theme, the suspended atmosphere and the sudden earthquakes made it one of the greatest masterpieces in the genre, loved by generations of composers of the following centuries. The Fantasia will be accompanied by the Italian premiere of Sarmal, by the Turkish composer and conductor Oğuzhan Balcı, for piano four hands by Ensari and Schuch, husband and wife and internationally renowned performers.
