Stefano Guarino, a friend of Trame Sonore and first cellist of the OCM, returns to perform in the double role of pianist and cellist. A particular note but a ritual to Trame Sonore, the double virtuoso presents a composite program with a heated timbral and digital virtuosity, which ranges from Mendelssohn’s early Romanticism to Crumb’s Sonata. Among the pieces, there are also two unpublished works by the great Italian cellist Enrico Mainardi, a precious rarity for the most curious.
