Piano and technology meet on this journey through one of the masterpieces of contemporary music. Raffaella Ronchi and Rossella Calella tackle eight paintings from Makrokosmos, two volumes of twelve fantasies each dedicated to the signs of the zodiac, which the recently deceased American composer George Crumb composed inspired by Bartók’s extensive Mikrokosmos didactic collection. The performance will be accompanied by video art built on the music.
