From the Court to the Battles, real battles and love conflicts, the RossoPorpora ensemble with Walter Testolin as director returns to the Sala dei Cavalli and his journey along the roads traced by Cupid, to give us contrasting emotions, pains of love and sword wounds, with verses by Tasso with the Gerusalemme liberata, and by Guarini with Il pastor fido, through the dramatically and theatrically constructed madrigals, from the notes of Giaches de Wert, Luca Marenzio and Claudio Monteverdi.
