Guido Barbieri (regular presence at Trame Sonore) tells the story of the composers in the Terezín ghetto, which for three years was a surprising cultural hotbed and the “model ghetto” that Hitler’s Germany offered to the world, before 1944 led to deportation and the extermination of all 1390 artists locked up there. This event re-proposes the music of Terezín, in order not to forget the tragedy and rediscover the work of some of the most brilliant minds of the century, swept away by the violence of anti-Semitism.
