At just 14, Frescobaldi obtained his first stable position as organist. The great talent of the Ferrarese was to take him far: Rome, Amsterdam, Florence, his fame as a harpsichordist, organist and composer also spread beyond the borders of the Italian peninsula, thanks to a virtuosic, passionate and full of contrasts style, modeled according to the vocal of Claudio Monteverdi’s music.
