Trame Sonore welcomes the public to its 11th edition with this masterpiece of chamber music, which expresses the essence of Gabriel Fauré. From many points of view it is precisely in the intimacy of the chamber ensemble that the soul of Fauré is manifested, who however refused to write a quartet for strings until 1924. Composed at the age of 79, the Quartet is the last piece by the French composer, his artistic testament, made up of delicate watermarks and intimate reflections, which will find a perfect interpreter in the Quatuor Hermès, among the historic guests of Trame Sonore.
